Paula Bock is a co-founding partner and Managing Partner of BOWA, a Helsinki-based business law firm built around one core idea: RETURN.

Paula holds a Master of Laws degree from the University of Helsinki and an international Master of Laws (LL.M.) degree from the University of Melbourne, Australia. She has also pursued advanced tax law studies at Lund University in Sweden.

With more than a decade of experience, Paula combines deep legal expertise with commercial understanding and a practical, solution-oriented approach. She advises companies, entrepreneurs and individuals in situations where legal decisions have real financial and strategic impact.

Paula’s core expertise lies in taxation, particularly complex tax matters, international taxation, tax disputes and cases involving the intersection of tax law and criminal law. She helps clients navigate demanding situations by combining technical precision with a clear focus on business outcomes.

Her background extends far beyond taxation. Paula has extensive experience in dispute resolution and has represented clients in a wide range of civil and criminal proceedings. Before founding BOWA, she worked with matters including commercial disputes, insolvency, restructuring, housing and real estate disputes, family law matters and other complex legal conflicts.
